Key responsibilities
- Build genuine and respectful relationships with children and families
- Support children's exploration, investigation and learning in outdoor and nature-based environments
- Contribute to creating quality environments and experiences
- Work collaboratively with the educator and leadership team
- Bring ideas, enthusiasm and personality to the role
- Help shape the culture of the service
- Value outdoor play, nature and real-life learning experiences
- Support children as capable, competent human beings in their learning
About you
- Hold, or be working towards, a Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
- Warm, capable and genuinely enjoy working with children
- Confident, reliable and able to use initiative
- Able to work collaboratively while also thinking independently
- Understand that quality education is about far more than completing paperwork
