Our client, a successful global manufacturer and importer of electrical products, is seeking an experienced Electrical Production Assembler to join their production team located in Mascot (only a 5-minute walk from Mascot Station), reporting to the Production and Continuous Improvement Manager.

Your duties will include:

- Assembling electrical and mechanical components in accordance with work instructions, wiring diagrams, SOPs, and quality standards.
- Using hand tools such as screwdrivers, side-cutting pliers, crimping tools, and wire strippers, and other assembly equipment.
- Operating pedestal drills, handheld power drills, and other workshop tools safely and effectively as required.
- Conducting visual inspections and basic quality checks to ensure products meet workmanship and specification requirements.
- Performing production and assembly work, including manual handling and lifting of components where required.
- Meeting production schedules and deadlines while effectively prioritising workflow.
- Complying with all company quality, safety, and environmental procedures.
- Performing general housekeeping and other duties as directed.

To be considered successful for this role, you will have:

- Previous experience in a production, manufacturing, or assembly environment




- Experience in electrical assembly, wiring, cable harness assembly, or electromechanical assembly is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, wiring tools, and workshop equipment, including crimpers, wire strippers, pedestal drills, and handheld power drills.
- Ability to read and follow assembly drawings, wiring schematics, work instructions, and production documentation.
- A basic understanding of electrical safety principles and safe handling of electrical components.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to quickly learn current tasks and adapt to changing production requirements.
- Commitment to following all workplace health, safety, and quality requirements.
- Physically capable of performing repetitive manual tasks and lifting components when required.
- Availability to commence work immediately.

Must be available to work from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm Monday to Thursday, and Friday from 6:00 am to 12:00 pm. If you meet the above criteria, we would love to hear from you.
