Ventia delivers transport infrastructure and technology maintenance solutions across Victoria’s major road network. This role plays a vital part in maintaining and improving the region's transport infrastructure, helping keep communities connected and roads safe as part of the North East Link Project.

This contract includes the operation, maintenance and performance management of critical Transport Systems, traffic signal assets, communications networks, electrical infrastructure and associated roadside technology across live traffic environments.

About the role:

Reporting to the Construction Manager, the Electrical Supervisor will lead the delivery of electrical works across the contract, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality outcomes. You will provide day-to-day leadership to crews and contractors, translating strategic objectives into operational delivery while meeting project, customer, and organisational expectations.

This is a full-time permanent position based at our Laverton North depot, with travel to project sites across the contract area as required. Standard working hours are approximately 7:00am to 3:00pm, with a tool-of-trade vehicle provided.

Role responsibilities:

- Lead day-to-day service delivery and operational performance.
- Manage crews, contractors, and team productivity.
- Champion safety, health, and environmental compliance.
- Monitor project delivery, schedules, budgets, and performance metrics.
- Drive quality standards and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Build strong stakeholder relationships and provide accurate operational reporting.





About you:

- A-Grade Electrical Licence (mandatory).
- Experience in a Site Supervisor role within major roads or civil infrastructure projects.
- Experience with ITS (Intelligent Transport Systems) or Traffic Signals
- Demonstrated experience overseeing electrical installation, maintenance, testing, and commissioning activities.
- Proven ability to lead teams, coordinate contractors, and drive safe, productive, and high-quality outcomes on site.
- Well-developed problem-solving, planning, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
