About the Role

Key Strategic Responsibilities

- Shape and drive the overall engineering execution strategy and critical technical decision-making across all project life-cycle phases
- Direct high-stakes strategic studies to maximize capital efficiency, unlock operational capability, and optimize project scope
- Govern and empower top-tier EPCM and EPC contracting partners, setting benchmark standards for safety, quality, and delivery performance
- Champion cutting-edge market supply strategies, capitalizing on global procurement channels, Chinese EPC/EPCM frameworks, major OEMs, and international trade partners
- Deliver commanding executive leadership to harmoniously balance technical excellence, commercial viability, risk mitigation, and milestone achievements

Key Requirements





- Significant major project experience, ideally on capital developments exceeding $3B AUD
- Demonstrated track record leading engineering delivery for large-scale mining, infrastructure, or materials handling projects
- Strong engineering, commercial, and project delivery acumen with a holistic understanding of owner and contractor risks
- Hands-on expertise with EPCM/EPC contract frameworks, execution planning, and strategic studies
- Proven exposure to global procurement strategies, OEM management, and non-traditional EPC/EPCM markets
