We are excited to announce our upcoming five month Vacation Program, designed to provide current (2nd year+) or recently graduated students with invaluable industry experience and professional development opportunities.
About Our Program: Our Vacation Program offers students the chance to gain hands-on experience and develop skills that are highly sought after in the environmental field.
We are seeking an undergraduate or recently graduated student who enjoys a challenge and is looking for practical experience in the Environmental field.
The successful Applicant will assist our Environmental team in all aspects of environmental monitoring, data management and report preparation.
Program Details:
- Duration: The Vacation program will run from Mid-December to April 2027.
- Roster: This role is DIDO (Drive In Drive Out) from Darwin working a 8 days on / 6 days off roster (working 12 hour shifts)
- Location: The Cosmo Mine is located 160 km south of Darwin, in the Northern Territory. The site is focused on rehabilitation of operations.
- Accommodation: Camp accommodation and meals are provided on shift.
The successful candidate should possess the following
- Have completed a minimum 2 years study towards a tertiary degree in environmental management, sciences or related discipline
- Self-motivated and willing to accept the challenge of working in hot outdoor environments at times.
- Excellent communication skills
- Availability to work from December 2026 to April 2027
- Current Class C Manual Driver's Licence
