Sales & Administration Officer

Brisbane – Mansfield | Full-Time | Immediate Start Available

Lawson Air is a well-established air conditioning installation, service and trade business based in Mansfield, Brisbane. We are part of a growing group of businesses operating across the HVACR, mechanical services and construction industries throughout Queensland and NSW.

We are looking for a Sales & Administration Officer to join our Brisbane team.

This is a varied role suited to someone who enjoys being busy, dealing with customers and suppliers, staying organised and learning new skills. Working closely with our sales, installation and service teams, you will provide day-to-day administration and sales support while developing your knowledge of residential and light commercial air conditioning.

About the Role The role will include a combination of sales support, administration, quoting, procurement and job preparation, including:

Assisting with residential and light commercial HVAC quoting

- Preparing and following up customer quotes and enquiries
- Responding to customer and supplier emails and phone enquiries
- Assisting customers with product and equipment enquiries
- Organising materials and equipment required for upcoming jobs
- Preparing equipment, parts and materials for installation and service teams
- Assisting with supplier orders, procurement and deliveries
- Coordinating with technicians, installers, suppliers and other team members to ensure jobs are prepared and ready to go
- Assisting with job setup, administration and documentation
- Maintaining accurate customer, job and product information within our systems
- Assisting with invoicing, purchase orders and general sales administration
- Assisting with stock and material requirements
- Participating in occasional site visits to assist with quoting and job requirements
- Providing general administration and office support to the Brisbane team
- Developing your knowledge of HVAC products, applications and estimating





The Opportunity This position provides an excellent opportunity for someone who is interested in developing a career within the HVAC industry, sales or estimating.

You do not necessarily need extensive HVAC experience. We are interested in someone who is keen to learn, has good attention to detail and wants to develop their understanding of air conditioning systems and how residential and light commercial projects are quoted and delivered.

With the right attitude and aptitude, there will be the prospect to progressively take on more responsibility in estimating and sales support.

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

- Proactive, organised and able to manage multiple tasks
- Confident communicating with customers, suppliers and internal staff
- Experienced in administration, customer service or sales support
- Excellent with emails, phones and computer-based systems
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced trade/construction environment
- Able to work independently while also being a strong team player
- Practical and solutions-focused
- Willing to learn and develop new skills
- Interested in developing knowledge of HVAC products and estimating

Previous experience in air conditioning, refrigeration, electrical, building or construction industries would be an advantage, but is not essential. Experience with quoting, estimating, procurement, job management or trade-based businesses will also be highly regarded.
