We're looking for an experienced Events Manager, APAC to lead our regional events strategy and execution. This role will own the planning, delivery and performance of our event portfolio across Asia Pacific, ensuring every event supports business priorities and delivers measurable commercial outcomes.
You'll be responsible for a broad mix of activities including customer events, industry sponsorships, executive roundtables, partner events, roadshows and flagship regional programs. Working closely with sales, marketing, partners and global teams, you'll create memorable experiences that help drive growth across the region.
This is a highly visible role with the prospect to shape how we engage customers and prospects across one of Sage's fastest-growing regions.
Location - Hybrid, 3 days per week from our Sydney office.
Key Responsibilities
What You'll Do;
- Build and manage the APAC events calendar.
- Plan and deliver customer, partner and prospect events across the region.
- Manage events from concept through to execution, including suppliers, logistics,
registrations and onsite delivery.
- Work with sales and marketing teams to maximise attendance, engagement and follow-up activity.
- Identify sponsorship, speaking and networking opportunities that support business priorities.
- Track performance and report on event outcomes, including pipeline contribution and ROI.
- Continuously improve how we plan, execute and measure events.
What You'll Bring;
- Experience in event marketing, field marketing or event management.
- A proven ability to manage events from start to finish.
- Strong project management and organisational skills.
- Experience working with multiple stakeholders and managing competing priorities.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- A commercial mindset and focus on driving results.
- A hands-on approach and willingness to roll up your sleeves when required.
- Experience working across multiple APAC markets is a plus.
