As an Appliance Technician with A1 Domestic Appliances, you will attend customers’ homes to diagnose,



service, repair and install a wide range of domestic appliances.

You will be responsible for:

● Servicing, diagnosing and repairing domestic appliances

● Installing domestic appliances where required

● Working on ovens, cooktops, rangehoods, microwaves, dishwashers, washing machines, clothes dryers, refrigerators and freezers

● Diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical and mechanical faults

● Using our job management system to plan and manage scheduled jobs

● Reading parts diagrams and identifying parts required for repairs

● Providing accurate job reports

● Liaising with our technical and service departments when assistance is required

● Providing professional, friendly and reliable service to customers

About You

We are looking for someone who takes pride in their workmanship, enjoys problem-solving and understands the importance of providing an excellent customer experience.

The successful candidate will ideally have:

● Experience in domestic appliance servicing and repairs

● Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills

● Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving abilities

● The ability to read and interpret parts diagrams

● Strong written and verbal communication skills





● A qualified and customer-focused attitude

● The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment

● A current Victorian Driver Licence (required)

● Relevant rights to work in Australia

Electrical Licence A current A, B or D Class Electrical Licence is preferred but not essential.
