Exercise Physiologist – Complex Care

About the Role:

An opportunity exists for an experienced Exercise Physiologist to join the Complex Care team. This role would be an excellent FTE addition to someone who already works within ERH and was keen to expand their knowledge in another area.

Key responsibilities include:

· Assess, prescribe and implement exercise, mobility and rehabilitation programs to individual patients (Goal Directed Care Plans) and therapy groups - primarily within the IPAC Department and Physiotherapy Department

· Manage data collection and data entry requirements as required by the organisation. Effective and timely reporting procedures and communication of relevant patient information both internally and externally

· Maintain a clinical load appropriate to level of expertise as part of the clinical services offered by an Exercise Physiologist

Qualifications/experience required:

· Qualifications:





o Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Science or Masters of Clinical Exercise Physiology o Current Exercise and Sport Science Australia (ESSA) accreditation

· Demonstrated clinical skills in Exercise Physiology practice including assessment and provision of appropriate exercise programs to consumers with various health conditions
