About the role
Neighbourhood Care is seeking an experienced Support Worker to join our self-managed Team in the Fremantle area.
This role is available for an immediate start on a casual basis, with the potential to transition to full-time or part-time in the near future. You will work collaboratively with your clients, their support networks, and your Neighbourhood Care team. You can provide the best support possible with less bureaucracy.
What you'll be doing
Your day-to-day tasks will vary depending on your client's needs. You will work with people of varying ages and backgrounds. You will provide tailored support to make a meaningful, positive difference, including assistance with daily living, personal care, social outings, cooking, cleaning and transport.
In addition to your role as a Support Worker, you will be a team member in a self-managed team. This means that you will have opportunities to contribute on a broader scale and develop your own skills in a team setting.

What we are looking for
- A minimum of Certificate III in Disability or equivalent
- Experience in manual handling
- Experience in providing personal care
- Demonstrated commitment to human rights-based, person-centred support practices
- Australian driver’s licence & regular access to a car
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working with Children Check
- Full Australian working rights
- First Aid certificate (including CPR)
