About the Role:

Are you an experienced Joinery Draftsperson with strong cabinetmaking knowledge? We’re looking for a detail-oriented professional to join our growing team in Molendinar.

This is a hands-on role where you’ll work closely with our production team to deliver accurate, high-quality joinery drawings ready for manufacture. You’ll play an important role in taking projects from architectural drawings through to production.

Key Requirements:

- Minimum 4 years’ experience in cabinetmaking, shopfitting or joinery
- Proven experience in joinery drafting using PaletteCAD, Cobus NCAD or similar software
- Relevant trade qualification in Cabinetmaking or Joinery
- Strong understanding of construction drawings and specifications
- High attention to detail and drawing accuracy
- Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple projects
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook and Excel

Key Responsibilities:

- Interpret architectural drawings and produce accurate shop drawings
- Customise designs to meet client requirements and revise designs based on feedback
- Ensure all drawings meet industry standards and project specifications
- Prepare cutting lists and material schedules aligned with production timelines
- Quantify materials and hardware and raise purchase orders prior to manufacturing
- Provide technical support to production teams throughout the manufacturing process
- Maintain and update project documentation and design files

- Have a practical understanding of cabinetmaking and manufacturing processes
- Communicate confidently with clients and internal production teams
- Can manage multiple projects and deadlines without compromising accuracy
- Are proactive, adaptable and willing to support the wider team when required
- Work well independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team environment
