The Role

We are seeking a customer-focused and reliable Facilities Attendant to join the Community Services team at the Boulevard Centre! As a valued team member, you will provide a high level of customer service to venue users and patrons assisting with their logistical needs and ensuring every interaction is professional, positive, and welcoming. Working closely with the Team Leader Events and Venue Management, you will support the day-to-day operation of the Boulevard Centre, including the set up and pack down of functions and events, opening and closing facilities, and ensuring facilities are protected and secure.

Selection Criteria

- Excellent customer service skills,



including effective verbal communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to liaise confidently with the public and staff and effectively deal with challenging situations.
- Previous experience in setting up and bump-out of functions and/or events, including knowledge of Audio-Visual equipment set-up, operation, and take-down would be an advantage.
- Ability to work as part of a team or independently to contribute to timely and responsive service delivery, including organisational ability and demonstrated initiative for problem solving.
- Ability to work evening, weekend and Public Holiday hours.
- Ability to perform moderate to heavy manual handling duties, including knowledge of safe manual handling practices.

Essential:

- Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate.
- Current Apply First Aid Certificate is desirable.
- Fire Warden is desirable.

Eligibility

- Australian working rights.
- National Police Clearance (no older than 3 months).
