Lawson Flats is a membership-based social club spanning three floors in one of the city's last remaining Art Deco jewels. Our member community has access to co-working spaces, karaoke and listening rooms, an art gallery, movement studios, and Luis' bar and kitchen at the heart.

We're a private members club open Monday to Saturday — somewhere between gallery opening and your most functional group chat. A mix of food, drink, conversation, and the odd DJ set.

We're currently looking for two supervisors to help lead our floor and bar team:

MORNING SUPERVISOR

You'll open the club and set the tone for the day — leading service through our co-working and café trade with a strong focus on coffee. This role suits someone with genuine barista craft who takes pride in consistency and wants to bring that standard to a small, close-knit team.

Responsibilities

- Lead and coordinate morning service across the café and bar
- Oversee coffee quality, consistency, and presentation
- Train and mentor junior baristas and F&B; team members
- Manage opening procedures, stock levels, and equipment maintenance
- Handle member and guest enquiries with warmth and professionalism
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards





What we're looking for

- Strong barista experience — non-negotiable
- Valid WA RSA certificate
- Food Safety Certificate
- Previous supervisory or team leadership experience preferred
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Ability to train and coach others on coffee standards
- Available for morning shifts, Monday–Saturday

EVENING SUPERVISOR You'll lead the floor through our evening and night trade — where the club shifts into its bar, dining, and event energy. This role is about people: keeping the floor running smoothly, supporting your team under pressure, and making sure every member feels looked after.

Responsibilities

- Supervise and support the floor team through evening and night service
- Coordinate table and bar service, ensuring smooth member experiences
- Manage rostering conflicts, breaks, and on-the-floor problem solving
- Train, motivate, and manage performance of casual and full-time staff
- Handle escalations and member feedback with confidence
- Ensure compliance with RSA and workplace safety standards

What we're looking for

- Strong people management and floor leadership experience
- Valid WA RSA certificate
- Food Safety Certificate
- Proven ability to lead a team in a fast-paced hospitality setting
- Excellent communication and conflict-resolution skills
- Calm under pressure, with sound judgement
- Available for evening and night shifts, Monday–Saturday
