About the role

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Disability Support Worker to provide in-home support to a client in Craigieburn, VIC. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a genuine difference in someone's daily life while working within a supportive care team.

As a Carer, you will be committed to your duty of care toward the participants. We are happy to work with you to help you excel in the sector. Prior experience is an advantage but candidates with the right attitude will be considered.

Please note: The shifts will be 4 hours each, required 2-3 days a week. Days and times may be flexible.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

· Assistance with household tasks such as cleaning, dishwashing, laundry, etc.

· Assistance with Cooking and Meal Preparation





· Transporting and accompanying the client to GP and specialist appointments

· Assist client with transportation and community access

· Maintain accurate reporting (timesheets, risk or incident reports, shift notes)

· Consistent, honest and transparent communication.

· Eye for detail concerning in-home and outdoor risks

· Adhering to the NDIS Code of Conduct at all times

About you:

Support worker with good communication skills, a commitment to service, and a outstanding can-do attitude will be the fit for this role.

To be considered for this role you must have

· NDIS Screening Check

· Valid Covid-19 Vaccination certificate

· Valid Driver’s License & Own Car

Document Requirements

· Working with Children Check

· Australian Police Check

· First Aid & CPR Certificate

· NDIS Orientation Module

· Infection Control / Safe Hand Hygeine Training

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $34.00 – $36.00 per hour
