Weldtech Engineering NSW is a locally owned business based in Mt Thorley NSW. Our group of businesses offer multiple different services both onsite and offsite in mining, rail and civil sectors. Our Boilermaker / Fabrication division focuses on crack repairs, light and heavy fabrication, breakdown repairs and design both onsite and offsite.

About the role

We are currently seeking experienced Field Service Boilermakers, Rail Boilermakers and an Excavator Shutdown Boilermakers for our customers sites in Muswellbrook, Singleton and Newcastle; all work is secured by our large order book and permanent employment.

Duties Include;





- Light / Heavy Fabrication
- Digger Shutdowns
- Repairs and maintenance to mobile equipment eg, Dozers, Graders, Haul Trucks, Excavators etc
- Chassis Repairs
- Rail Equipment Maintenance
- Tray, Blade and Bucket Overhauls

Skills, experience and expectations

- Previous experience in a similar role
- Certificate of Proficiency
- Ability to pass Weld Testing - 1554.4
- Robust commitment to safety
- Ability to work as an individual and as part of a team
- Trade Certificate in the relevant trade
