TeamHEALTH is seeking a proactive and organised Finance and Business Supports Officer to join our Business Services Team. This important role supports the smooth operation of our finance functions, including accounts payable, reconciliations and financial administration, while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives in a dynamic and growing organisation.

Reporting to the Team Leader, the Finance and Business Supports Officer is responsible for accounts payable, bank, card and petty cash reconciliations, and supporting Accounts Receivable, Payroll and month-end processes. The role also contributes to the transition to recent finance systems and the ongoing improvement of finance processes.

The Officer is expected to work independently, exercise initiative in applying and improving established procedures, and manage their own workload to meet key deadlines. A collaborative, service-minded approach is important, providing responsive support that helps TeamHEALTH's programs and teams deliver their services.

TeamHEALTH operates in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment, which requires the role to be flexible, reliable and adaptable, a good communicator, and able to use initiative in the performance of work.

The Finance and Business Supports Officer may at times be required to provide support or assistance to other TeamHEALTH Programs or Regions, which may involve travel including overnight or weekly absences.

Key Selection Criteria

Essential for Position

1. Minimum Certificate III in Business or Finance area, or equivalent experience.
2. Demonstrated experience in accounts payable and financial reconciliations 7. Intermediate Excel skills and knowledge of other MS office programs, MYOB or similar accounting packages.
3.



Action orientated, flexible and innovative with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
4. Demonstrated range of written and oral communication and consultation skills, with the ability to interact with a diverse range of people.
5. Demonstrated ability to manage workload in a busy environment and prioritise to ensure deadlines are met.
6. Demonstrated ability to analyse and exercise good judgment in problem solving and decision making with a commitment to strive for continuous quality improvement.
7. Demonstrated attention to detail and high level of accuracy in work.

Desirable for Position

1. Experience supporting month-end or working through a finance system change or process improvement.
2. Experience working in the Community Services sector.

- Full time role 38 hours per week; Monday-Friday
