Finance Manager

Permanent Full time, 37.5 - hours per week

About the role

Position Overview The Finance Manager will oversee and lead the finance team and ensure appropriate financial management is maintained across the organisation. This includes the provision of accurate and timely financial reports and analysis, budget preparation, cash flow forecast, risk management, ensuring all compliance requirements are met and developing and implementing finance procedures and internal controls.

Key Responsibilities

- Provision of accurate, and timely financial information to relevant internal and external stakeholders including variance analysis
- Preparation of the annual budget and forecast
- Preparation of financial acquittals
- Overseeing the financial investment of the organisation including cashflow forecasts,
- Ensuring the Organisation complies with all financial and related statutory requirements
- Lead the annual audit process and production of statutory accounts
- Lead and manage the Finance Team
- Develop, document and monitor financial business procedures and policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
- Work with Senior Managers and Managers to ensure programs are financially tracked

Qualifications and Experience

- Tertiary qualification in Accounting, CPA/CA qualification
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a finance management role
- Strong analytical, budgeting,



forecasting and financial modelling skills
- A positive “can do attitude”
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and finance regulations
- Effective communication skills
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Experience working with Finance One TechOne software
