About the role

ENL Transport is seeking a highly skilled Fleet Mechanic to join our team in Haigslea, QLD. As a full-time Fleet Mechanic, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of our diverse fleet of commercial vehicles, trailers & dolly's ensuring they operate efficiently and safely at all times.

What you'll be doing

- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and repairs on a wide range of commercial vehicles, including light and heavy-duty trucks, and trailers
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues using advanced diagnostic equipment
- Carry out all repair work to the highest standards, completing tasks in a timely and efficient manner
- Maintain detailed records of all work performed and parts used
- Assist with the development and implementation of preventative maintenance programs
- Collaborate with the Fleet Manager to ensure the fleet is well-maintained and roadworthy

What we're looking for

- Qualified and experienced automotive mechanic with a focus on commercial vehicle maintenance
- Strong understanding of the diagnosis and repair of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems in heavy vehicles
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills




- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills and attention to detail
- Current driver's licence and the ability to obtain relevant heavy vehicle licences
- Commitment to safety and a proactive approach to continuous improvement
