About the Role
We are seeking applications for the casual role of Food & Beverage Supervisors. This is an exciting, hands-on supervisory role responsible for supporting the smooth and efficient operation of QPAC's hospitality venues.
As a Food & Beverage Supervisor, you'll lead by example, supporting and developing team members, overseeing service delivery and ensuring a consistently high standard of customer experience across our hospitality operations.
In this role, you will:
- Supervise bar, restaurant and function service, predominantly during evenings and weekends (this is a hands-on leadership role).
- Lead, motivate and coach Food & Beverage Attendants to deliver outstanding customer service.
- Support the day-to-day operation of hospitality venues, ensuring service standards are consistently met.
- Ensure the quality, presentation and consistency of all food and beverage offerings.
- Oversee point-of-sale operations and ensure accurate cash handling procedures are followed.
- Monitor guest satisfaction and resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally.
- Maintain clean, organised hospitality venues and function spaces.
- Ensure equipment is appropriately maintained and maintenance issues are reported.
- Conduct pre-shift briefings and maintain clear communication across teams.
- Support the delivery of hospitality services for performances, functions, corporate events and special occasions.
About You To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience in a Food & Beverage Supervisor, Team Leader with a restaurant, café, hotel or similar high volume hospitality environment
- A current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate or ability to obtain
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach and develop a high-performing team.
- Excellent customer service and conflict resolution skills.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to remain calm under pressure in a rapid-paced setting.
- Experience using POS systems and handing cash reconciliations procedures
- A flexible approach to work, including availability to work evenings, weekends and public holidays.
Availability Requirements This is not a traditional Monday to Friday role. Flexibility is essential, as shifts are rostered across seven days, predominantly during evenings and weekends.
Food & Beverage Supervisors are expected to be available for a minimum of four (4) shifts per week, including availability from 4:00pm Wednesday through Saturday to support matinee and evening performances.
