Job Description

- Receive, inspect, and process incoming goods and materials.
n
- Pick, pack, prepare orders, and load trucks ready for dispatch.
n
- Maintain inventory accuracy through regular stock counts and cycle counts.
n
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and compliantly where licensed.
n
- Keep warehouse areas clean, organised, and compliant with safety standards.
n
- Manage delivery dockets, manifests, and inventory records.
n
- Support inventory control, stock rotation, and storage optimisation.
n
- Liaise with internal teams, drivers, and suppliers to coordinate deliveries and dispatch.
n
- Assist with loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently.
n
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and operational efficiency.
n
- Manage stock and prepare trucks for crews to minimise downtime on the VRMC contract.
n

Requirements

n

n
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or storeperson role.
n
- Forklift licence essential.
n
- MR truck licence preferred but not essential.
n
- Strong understanding of warehouse processes including receiving, dispatch, and stock control.
n
- Experience using inventory or warehouse management systems (WMS).
n
- Ability to safely lift, move, and handle materials.
n
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
n




- Good communication skills and ability to work with internal and external stakeholders.
n
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
n
- Basic computer skills, including email, data entry, and inventory systems.
n
- Relevant certificates in warehousing or logistics preferred but not required.
n
- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to WHS standards.
n
