About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Gardener or Gardener Hand to work with our Property and Facilities team. This role will provide an prospect to work on a variety of tasks as you provide support to both the grounds and maintenance team members.

No formal qualifications are needed – just a strong work ethic, good physical fitness, and a willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions. While your main focus will be on the Grounds, you will also assist the maintenance team when needed.

What You’ll Be Doing

Grounds

- Mowing lawns, edging, pruning, weeding, raking and mulching
- Keeping paths, gardens and outdoor areas clean and tidy
- Assisting with planting, landscaping and seasonal garden projects
- Using garden tools and small equipment safely
- Reporting any damage or hazards

Maintenance

- Assist with general maintenance as required or during leave coverage.

What We’re Looking For

- Physically fit and able to do manual labour
- Positive attitude and good reliability
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather




- Able to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
- Safety-conscious and willing to learn
- Manual (C Class) Driver's License
- Some previous gardening or groundskeeping experience
- Experience operating a ride-on lawnmower
- Familiarity with other tools like leaf blowers, whipper snippers, hedge trimmers or high-pressure cleaners
- Experience installing and maintaining reticulation
- An interest in gardening or landscaping
