About the role

We are seeking a General Hand to join our team on a full-time basis at our Perth WA 6000 location. This is a hands-on role that forms an essential part of our daily operations. You will support all aspects of the butchery business, working alongside our experienced team to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills in a traditional trade whilst contributing to a dynamic and welcoming workplace.

What you'll be doing

- Assisting with general cleaning and maintaining high standards of hygiene throughout the butchery and storage areas
- Supporting the preparation and organisation of products for display and sale
- Helping with stock management, including receiving, unpacking and rotating deliveries
- Assisting customers and maintaining a welcoming shop environment
- Supporting experienced butchers with various tasks as required
- Operating basic equipment and tools safely and effectively
- Following all health and safety regulations and company procedures
- Contributing to the overall efficiency and professionalism of the business

What we're looking for





- Physical fitness and the ability to perform repetitive manual tasks
- A willingness to learn and develop new skills in the butchery trade
- Reliability, punctuality and a strong work ethic
- The ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Valuable attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Respect for health and safety requirements and a proactive approach to workplace safety
- Basic communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanour
- Previous experience in butchery, hospitality or a similar trade environment would be advantageous but is not essential for the right candidate
