I have been recruiting in Aged Care for years, but I have never seen a benefit scheme like this. We have been exclusively engaged to search for a General Manager to oversee a small residential village in Coffs Harbour, NSW. Our client is a 145-year-old benevolent organisation. They are financially secure, they don't answer to shareholders, and they are doing something for their staff that sounds almost too positive to be true.

- They are literally building houses for staff: This organisation is actively repurposing land to build apartments exclusively for their workforce.
- 50% Market Rent: If you live in these staff units, you pay roughly half the market rental rate. In this economy, that is effectively a massive pay rise.

About the Organisation: This provider has been around since 1880. They are a "benevolent institution" in the truest sense. During COVID, when other operators were cutting costs, this organisation operated at a planned loss just to stockpile PPE and protect their staff. They treat their team like family because, to them, you are family.
Your focus will be:
1. Operations: Managing the budget, rosters, and daily village life.
2. Compliance: Ensuring the home meets the Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards and keeping AN-ACC funding optimised.
3. Culture: Mentoring your department heads and keeping the vibe positive.
Who we need:
- You must have significant experience in Aged Care.
- You need a solid grip on AN-ACC, clinical governance, and budget management.
- You are an empathetic leader who understands that staff wellbeing equals resident wellbeing.
- You must have full working rights in Australia
