About the role

Seimosei Australia is an established NDIS provider supporting participants across the Canberra and Queanbeyan region. We are entering our next stage of development and are seeking an experienced General Manager with strong NDIS sector experience to lead the organisation.

This is a genuine whole-of-business leadership opportunity for someone who wants to do more than manage day-to-day operations. Working with the Director, you will have the opportunity to shape organisational strategy, influence future direction and lead its execution across the business.

You will have the autonomy to assess how the organisation operates, identify opportunities for improvement and shape the structure, systems and ways of working required to support Seimosei's future.

We are looking for a capable and commercially minded NDIS leader who can understand what is happening across a business, identify what needs attention, make sound decisions and provide clear direction.

The Role

As General Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the management and performance of Seimosei Australia, including:

- Leading the organisation's day-to-day operations and overall performance
- Developing organisational strategy in partnership with the Director and leading its execution
- Overseeing service delivery, workforce, financial performance, compliance, growth and risk
- Leading and developing the team, with accountability for performance and outcomes
- Using business performance and data to identify risks, opportunities and areas for improvement
- Driving improvements to organisational structure, systems, efficiency and ways of working
- Making informed operational and commercial decisions within your delegated authority

About you





This role requires substantial NDIS/disability-sector experience. We are looking for someone who understands both the purpose of disability services and the commercial and operational realities of running a sustainable NDIS provider.

You will ideally bring

- Demonstrated senior leadership experience within the NDIS or disability-services sector
- Strong practical knowledge of NDIS service delivery and provider obligations
- The ability to lead across operations, people, finance, compliance and growth
- Strong commercial and financial acumen
- Experience managing workforce capacity, service delivery and organisational performance
- Sound knowledge of NDIS compliance, quality, safeguarding and risk
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capability
- Experience leading organisational improvement and change
- The confidence to make decisions, provide direction and hold people accountable
- Solid communication, stakeholder-management and leadership skills
- Relevant leadership, management, business or sector qualifications, or equivalent senior experience
