About The Role

This busy, established mixed-billing medical practice in Werribee, Melbourne is seeking a VR GP to join its supportive and experienced team.

The clinic is experiencing robust patient demand and is currently turning patients away. One GP is also leaving the practice and has not confirmed when she will return, creating an immediate need for an additional doctor.

The GP will ideally work four days per week from Tuesday to Friday, with Friday being the clinic’s greatest priority. The practice is DPA eligible and can consider GPs who are subject to the moratorium.

The clinic has a strong focus on women’s health, with the majority of patients seeking women’s health services. There is also consistent demand for chronic disease management, care plans, pathology, iron infusions and antenatal care.

The GP will join a team of 13 doctors, several of whom have worked at the practice for many years. Staff turnover is very low, and a GP who joined the clinic three months ago is already fully booked.

The practice operates on a mixed-billing model, with children under 12 bulk billed and healthcare card holders receiving a $20 discount. Standard appointments are 15 minutes.

Requirements Applicants must hold FRACGP, FACRRM or Grandfathered General Specialist registration and must be eligible to bill Medicare.
