ABOUT US
Founded in Melbourne in 2006, Tinyme designs and manufactures personalised children’s products for customers around the world. We have fulfilled more than one million orders.
Tinyme won back-to-back Australian Online Retailer of the Year Awards and was inducted into the ORIAs Hall of Fame in 2021. Our sister brand Opiqo extends what we do into beautiful customised products and art for the home.
Most of our team is based in Melbourne, with a smaller production and customer service team at our UK operation in Royal Leamington Spa. We keep our core capabilities in-house—from design, software and marketing to engineering, production and customer service.
We’re a vertically integrated direct-to-consumer ecommerce business. Our team values creativity, experimentation, continuous improvement and practical problem-solving.
THE ROLE
We’re looking for a Growth Marketing Specialist to take hands-on ownership of our core paid acquisition channels—Meta Ads and Google Ads—while contributing to our wider growth strategy across brand, email, SEO, organic social and promotions.
Reporting to the Director of Marketing, this role suits someone with enough practical experience to take ownership and work independently. We are also open to exceptional new graduates who can demonstrate robust analytical ability, initiative and genuine hands-on capability.
This is a full-time, fully onsite role at our Scoresby studio and production facility. Being together is significant to how we work: marketing, design, software, engineering and production collaborate closely as new products move from idea to launch. You’ll work directly with the people creating and building what you market.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Manage and optimise Google Ads and Meta Ads, including budgets, campaigns, targeting, creative testing and performance reporting.
- Use our in-house analytics and customer data to identify opportunities and turn insights into practical actions.
- Work with our designers to develop performance-informed creative and advertising concepts.
- Help shape activity across email, SEO,
organic social and our promotional calendar.
- Collaborate across the business on frequent new product launches and brand campaigns.
- Use AI and automation to improve research, analysis, campaign development, creative workflows, reporting and decision-making.
Meta and Google are the core of the role. We don’t expect one person to arrive as an expert in every other marketing discipline. AI IS CENTRAL TO HOW WE WORK
We lean heavily on AI systems and expect this role to use them actively and intelligently. Comfort with AI is essential, not optional.
We’re looking for someone who experiments, learns quickly, checks outputs critically and understands where AI can genuinely improve a marketing result or workflow—not someone who sees it only as an occasional copywriting tool.
Experience using AI in a marketing context is strongly preferred. Graduates may demonstrate this through study, personal projects or other practical work. If you are reluctant to use AI regularly, this will not be the right role.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Hands-on Meta Ads and Google Ads capability, gained professionally or through substantial practical projects.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills, with confidence working with spreadsheets and performance data.
- Commercial curiosity and an understanding of how brand, creative, customer behaviour and marketing performance fit together.
- The ability to understand a brand, its voice and what its customers value.
- An analytical and systematic approach, balanced with creativity and practical problem-solving.
- The confidence to take ownership while working openly and collaboratively with the wider team.
- A relevant degree—or equivalent practical experience—in marketing, business, finance, data science, science or another relevant discipline.
- Exceptional new graduates are welcome if they can demonstrate strong numerical ability, curiosity, initiative and applied skills.
- Familiarity with the marketing acronyms helps: CPC, PPC, AOV, CPM, CPA and ROAS.
- Bonus points for above-average breakdancing moves and an appreciation of real coffee.
WHAT WE OFFER
- A full-time role with a competitive salary tailored to the successful applicant’s skills and experience.
- Clear ownership of our core paid channels, with meaningful input into wider DTC growth strategy.
- The opportunity to spend more time on strategy, experimentation and improvement because many routine marketing tasks are already automated.
- The chance to work alongside the people who design, develop, engineer and make the products you’re marketing.
- Freshly ground coffee, free snacks and Friday pizza.
- An immediate start is available.
