A growing Australian manufacturing business is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to help drive its next phase of performance and development.

This is a key leadership role with genuine scope to influence how the business operates and performs. The foundations are strong, but there is an prospect to further lift capability, develop leaders and embed greater consistency, accountability and continuous improvement.

We are looking for an experienced manufacturing or operations leader who combines strong operational capability with commercial judgement and genuine people leadership. You will have successfully led change and improvement within a manufacturing environment and be comfortable moving between longer-term thinking and the realities of day-to-day operations.

Leadership capability is critical.



You will lead an experienced team, setting clear expectations, developing leaders and creating greater accountability for performance. Your ability to influence, challenge constructively and bring people with you will be as important as your technical operational experience.

Formal Lean or continuous improvement capability will be highly regarded, as will experience within building products or a similarly operationally complex environment.
