At Laminex, we’ve been helping Australians build, renovate and design better spaces for more than 90 years. We’re now looking for a senior warehousing and logistics leader to help shape the future of our national network.

As Head of Warehousing & Logistics, you’ll lead our distribution centres and transport operations across Australia, working with teams to improve safety, service, productivity and customer outcomes.

Reporting to the General Manager and based in Melbourne, this is a senior leadership role with national scope and real opportunity to influence how we operate.

You’ll build on the strengths of the current operation, identify opportunities to work differently and support meaningful change across a complex multi-site network.

What you’ll be responsible for

You’ll work closely with leaders across Sales, Manufacturing, Finance and the wider supply chain to deliver reliable outcomes for our customers and the business.

Key areas of focus will include:

- Leading Laminex Australia’s national warehousing and logistics strategy.
- Improving the distribution network, operating model and inventory performance.
- Supporting better safety, service, productivity and cost outcomes.
- Identifying improvement opportunities and working with teams to bring them to life.
- Using data and insights to support practical decision-making.
- Managing relationships with freight providers and logistics partners.
- Developing capable, collaborative operational leadership teams.
- Partnering across the business to improve customer experience and network performance.

What we’re looking for

You’ll bring senior experience across warehousing, logistics or distribution,



along with the ability to lead through complexity, build strong relationships and create an environment where teams can do their best work.

We’re looking for someone with:

- Experience leading large-scale, multi-site warehousing and logistics operations.
- Experience supporting operational change, transformation or continuous improvement.
- The ability to balance long-term strategy with day-to-day operational realities.
- Commercial acumen and experience improving productivity, service and cost performance.
- A clear and visible commitment to safety.
- The ability to build trust, collaborate and influence at senior level.
- Experience developing capable and accountable operational leaders.
- A customer-focused approach and strong understanding of how logistics performance supports the wider business.
- Qualifications in business, logistics, supply chain or a related discipline would be useful.

Experience in building products, manufacturing, industrial distribution, retail, FMCG or another complex operating environment would be helpful. More important is your ability to lead change, bring people with you and support the performance of a national network. Why join Laminex?
