Health & Safety Advisor – FIFO – Large Mining House

Health & Safety Advisor required on a FIFO basis to support a major project for a large mining company.

- Long-term contract opportunity
- FIFO to NSW – 12 days on, 9 days off
- Circa $1,400 per day + travel + accommodation

About the role We are seeking an experienced Health & Safety Advisor with strong mining experience to join a major project team within a large mining organisation.

This is a hands-on Advisor-level role supporting the delivery of Health & Safety programs, working closely with project teams, contractors and key stakeholders.

You will support the implementation of H&S; systems, standards and initiatives and provide practical safety advice across project and construction activities.

Your responsibilities will include

- Supporting the delivery and implementation of Health & Safety programs across the project.
- Providing practical H&S; advice and guidance to project teams and contractors.
- Supporting H&S; systems, governance, assurance and critical control processes.
- Working closely with project leadership, operational stakeholders and contractors.
- Supporting risk management and compliance activities throughout project execution.
- Monitoring contractor safety performance and supporting continuous improvement.
- Building strong relationships across the project and contributing positively to the wider H&S; team.

About you Mining experience is essential for this role.

We are ideally looking for someone who:

- Is an experienced, hands-on Health & Safety Advisor.




- Has strong experience working within mining environments.
- Is comfortable operating at Advisor level and enjoys being close to the work.
- Can come into an established project environment and get up to speed quickly.
- Has strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Has experience working with contractors and project/construction teams.
- Is practical, collaborative and a robust team fit.
- Holds relevant H&S; qualifications.

Experience across major projects, SMP, E&I;, EPCM environments or client-side mining operations would be highly regarded. NSW-specific experience is not essential if you have strong mining experience.

The roster The role operates on a 12 days on / 9 days off FIFO roster into regional NSW.

Travel and accommodation are organised and covered, with good-quality accommodation provided for the duration of the engagement.
