Schwarz Excavations is seeking experienced Hi-Rail Operators to join our team and contribute to major civil, rail, and infrastructure projects across Queensland. This role offers a hands-on opportunity to work with specialized rail and earthmoving equipment, ensuring safe and efficient project delivery.

About the role:

- Assist with maintenance of rail track infrastructure
- Operate hi-rail vehicles in compliance with network-specific standards and operational procedures.
- Follow all site, client and Schwarz safety policies and procedures
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure secure operations
- Support a safety-first culture through proactive participation
- Accurately complete required paperwork and reports

Skills and experience:

- RIW
- Unit TLIC3045 Operate Road/rail vehicle
- Construction Induction (White Card)
- C Class Driver’s Licence
- Ability to pass a CAT 1 Rail Medical Assessment
- Ability to pass drug and alcohol screening
- Robust commitment to safety and working as part of a team




- Certificate II in Rail Infrastructure (desirable)
