ARA Electrical High Voltage Services is a leading national electrical contractor delivering complex projects across commercial, industrial, infrastructure, utilities and renewable energy sectors. With a robust reputation for safety, quality, and customer service, we continue to expand our High Voltage and Accredited Service Provider (ASP) division throughout New South Wales.

We are seeking an experienced High Voltage & ASP Estimator to join our growing team in Sydney and play a key role in securing and delivering major infrastructure, utility and private network projects.

About the Role

Reporting to the Estimating Manager, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive estimates for High Voltage, Level 1 ASP, Private Network and associated electrical infrastructure projects.

You will work closely with clients, distributors, project managers and delivery teams to develop winning tender submissions while ensuring commercial and technical compliance.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare detailed cost estimates and tender submissions for High Voltage and ASP projects.
- Review drawings, specifications and technical documentation.
- Conduct site inspections and assess project risks and opportunities.
- Obtain and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations.
- Develop project methodologies, resource schedules and construction programs.
- Liaise with Ausgrid, Endeavour Energy and private network operators.
- Participate in tender clarifications, negotiations and client presentations.
- Assist in maintaining estimating databases and pricing benchmarks.
- Support project handovers to operational teams.





About You To be successful in this role, you will possess:

- Previous estimating experience within the electrical, utilities or infrastructure sectors.
- Strong understanding of High Voltage electrical systems and distribution networks.
- Experience pricing High Voltage Networks
- Ability to interpret electrical and civil construction drawings.
- Strong commercial acumen and cost management skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and estimating software packages.

Highly Regarded

- ASP Level 1 and Private Network industry experience.
- Electrical trade qualification.
- Experience with substations, underground and reticulation projects.
- Knowledge of DNSP standards and procedures.
