We have an exciting opportunity available for a motivated and reliable individual who is passionate about advancing their Hotel Management career.
Reporting to the Front Office Manager, the Night Manager will utilise their management skills and knowledge of front office operations to ensure all responsibilities pertaining to the role are carried our proficiently.
The Night Manager is responsible for the verification, reconciliation and accurate finalisation of all daily transactions and subsequent generation of management reports. The Night Manager is to provide assistance in Front Office operations and to assist in maximising revenue and profitability for the hotel whilst working within the guidelines set by the company.

Key responsibilities for the role include:
- Have a thorough knowledge of all accounting standards and procedures as they pertain to Night Audit.
- Keep informed of any standard and procedural changes and advise employees accordingly.
- Knowledge of all room types, room rates, and their location and amenities to ensure that any guest requests are adhered to where possible.
- Know all emergency and fire procedures and ensure that all Night personnel are fully informed of the same.
- Ensure that all desired standards are met and that all tasks are administered and completed and executed according to established procedures.
- Be familiar with all VIP’s, groups, tour arrivals and special requests for accommodation and amenities.
- Ensure that all key and guest room security procedures are followed.
- Represent management in the public areas, answer guest questions and ensure guest needs are being met.
- Compile reports concerning room occupancy and revenues, projected and actual sales information and historical statistics as required by the Front Office Manager for End of Month.
- Work with all pre-set budget requirements.
- Any other ad hoc duties as required.

This role is offered Full Time over 5 days a week, basis over a 7-day rotating roster. Flexibility will be highly regarded. You will be required to work between 11:00pm and 7:30am, including weekends and public holidays.
