Pearl Recruitment is seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter for an immediate-start position at a local industrial plant based in Welshpool. This is an ongoing maintenance opportunity for our client who are a well-established engineering and maintenance provider.

Mechanical Fitter - Plant Maintenance

Welshpool Location

$55.00 - $60.00 /hr + Super

n

Monday to Friday, 6:00am - 2:30pm

n

Immediate Start | Long-Term Opportunity

n

The Role: This position will suit an experienced Mechanical Fitter with previous plant maintenance experience who is looking for stable, long-term work within a local industrial environment. Your duties will include:

n

- Complete preventative and breakdown maintenance across plant machinery and equipment
n
- Diagnose mechanical faults and carry out repairs as required
n
- Maintain and repair conveyors, pumps, bearings, gearboxes,



drives and other mechanical equipment
n
- Remove, replace, fit and align mechanical components
n
- Assist with equipment installations, shutdowns and general maintenance activities
n
- Identify worn or damaged components during inspections
n

To Be Successful, You Will Require:

n

n
- Australian-recognised trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter (Boilermakers with fitting experience also welcome to apply)
n
- Previous experience working within an industrial plant, processing, manufacturing or similar maintenance workplace
n
- Ability to work independently as well as within a maintenance team
n
- Current Driver's Licence and reliable transport
n
- Ability to pass a pre-employment Drug & Alcohol Screen
n
- Genuine interest in a stable, potentially long-term position
n
