About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Recruitment Consultant to join our growing team and support Australian recruitment agencies specialising in technical and permanent recruitment.
This role is ideal for recruiters with an agency background who enjoy partnering with clients, sourcing specialist talent, and managing permanent recruitment assignments from brief through to placement.
You'll work alongside experienced Australian recruiters to identify, engage, and deliver high-quality candidates across technical, engineering, IT, professional services, and other specialist industries. If you enjoy building relationships, solving recruitment challenges, and delivering outstanding candidate experiences, this is the opportunity for you.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment Delivery

- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes for permanent technical and professional roles
- Source and engage candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, talent databases, referrals, and networking channels
- Conduct candidate screening, qualification interviews, and competency assessments
- Build and maintain talent pipelines for specialist and hard-to-fill positions




- Partner closely with Australian recruiters to understand client requirements and candidate profiles
- Manage candidate pipelines and provide regular recruitment updates
- Coordinate interviews, reference checks, offer management, and placement activities
- Maintain accurate candidate records within ATS and CRM platforms

Talent Sourcing & Market Research

- Conduct market mapping and talent research across specialist industries
- Identify passive candidates through proactive sourcing strategies
- Provide market insights on candidate availability, salary expectations, and hiring trends
- Build long-term relationships with high-quality candidates for future opportunities

What We're Looking For

- Minimum of 2 years' recruitment agency experience
- Proven experience recruiting technical, professional, or specialist roles
- Strong background in permanent recruitment and managing end-to-end recruitment processes
- Experience working within a recruitment agency desk environment
- Strong sourcing capability using LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, talent databases, and networking
- Experience recruiting niche or difficult-to-fill positions
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Solid relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage multiple vacancies and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment

- Australian recruitment agency experience
- Experience recruiting technical or engineering professionals
- Experience supporting Australian recruitment teams and clients
- Familiarity with permanent recruitment KPIs and agency recruitment environments
