- Deliver board-level reporting, insights and decision support to leadership and committees
- Lead audit, annual financial statements, internal controls and continuous improvement
- Oversee enterprise risk management, insurance reviews and governance compliance
- Provide commercial oversight of contracts, tenders, procurement and key suppliers

Skills and Experience

To be considered for this role, you will ideally have:

- Extensive hands-on experience in an autonomous finance leadership role within a medium-sized organisation.
- Demonstrated expertise in cashflow management, budgeting, forecasting, and capital planning.
- Proven ability to oversee taxation, insurance, and statutory compliance obligations.
- Strong capability in analysing and advising on legal documents, procurement contracts, and tender proposals.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, ERP systems, and board-level financial reporting.
- Experience working directly with or reporting to a Board and/or Finance & Governance Committee.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a collaborative leadership style.
- Demonstrated understanding of payroll award interpretation (Registered and Licensed Clubs Award).

What’s on Offer

- Executive-level role with genuine influence and autonomy
- Close partnership with an engaged CEO and Board
- Opportunity to drive systems and reporting improvements
- Values-led culture focused on service and accountability
- A diverse remit across finance, people, risk and governance
