Catholic Early EdCare is looking for enthusiastic, reliable and caring Casual Educators to join our Outside School Hours Care (OSHC), Long Day Care (LDC) and Kindy services across the Western/Ipswich region. With more than 130 services across Queensland , you’ll have the flexibility to pick up shifts that suit your availability, gain valuable experience across different settings and become part of a welcoming and supportive community. As a Casual Educator, you’ll play an important role in creating positive experiences for children and supporting their wellbeing, learning and development.

Key Responsibilities

- Welcoming and engaging with children before and after school
- Creating safe, inclusive and supportive environments where every child feels valued
- Planning and participating in fun, age-appropriate activities
- Working collaboratively with a passionate team to provide high-quality care
- Taking part in exciting vacation care activities and excursions
- Building positive relationships with children, families and colleagues
- Bringing energy, creativity, enthusiasm and positivity to every shift

Job Requirements

- A current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
- Current completion (or willingness to complete prior to commencement) of mandatory National Child Training (via Geckko).
- A current driver’s licence and reliable transport




- A genuine passion for working with children
- A reliable, enthusiastic and positive approach to your work
- A Children’s Services qualification, or be currently studying towards one, or hold an equivalent qualification recognised by ACECQA — desirable but not essential
