Seeking a Diploma Qualified Educator

What you’ll be doing in this role
Your Day-to-day Work May Include
- Contributing to the development of programs that reflect the approved learning framework.
- Developing positive and respectful relationships with children, families and the community.
- Facilitating play-based learning environments that respond to children’s interests, strengths and abilities.
- Completing daily set-up and pack-up duties and maintaining a clean and welcoming learning environment.
- Documenting children’s learning through observations and assessments against learning outcomes.
Who we’re looking for
- Diploma in Children’s Services (essential), with previous experience working at a Diploma level in an early learning service.
- A work history demonstrating experience recording observations, writing learning stories and supporting curriculum planning using the Early Years Learning Framework.
- An understanding of the National Quality Standards.
- A strong understanding of Child Protection and Mandatory Reporting requirements.
- The ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, families and community members.
- Experience working with children with developmental delays and disabilities is desirable but not essential.
- You’ll be adaptable, empathetic and resourceful, and able to live Uniting’s everyday values of being compassionate, respectful, imaginative and bold.
