A friendly small animal veterinary clinic in Nundah, Brisbane is looking for an experienced Locum Veterinary Nurse to assist with a number of shifts throughout September.

There are eight dates currently available, all with convenient 9:00am – 4:00pm hours.

You absolutely do not need to be available for every shift. Whether you can help with one day, a handful of dates or the majority of the month, we’d love to hear from you.

Available Shifts

- Thursday 17 September | 9:00am – 4:00pm
- Thursday 24 September | 9:00am – 4:00pm
- Friday 25 September | 9:00am – 4:00pm

The Role

You’ll be joining an established small animal GP clinic and supporting the veterinary team with general day-to-day nursing duties.





We’re looking for a nurse who can comfortably step into a new clinic environment and assist the team where needed throughout the day.

Ideally, You’ll Be Comfortable With

- General small animal veterinary nursing
- Surgical nursing and patient monitoring
- Patient admissions and discharges
- Hospital patient care
- General treatment and nursing duties
- Working as part of a busy GP team
- Communicating confidently with vets, nurses and clients

Flexibility

Availability for individual dates is absolutely welcome , so please don’t rule yourself out if you can’t cover the entire September roster.

If you have regular Thursday or Friday availability throughout September, this could also be a outstanding opportunity to pick up several shifts with the same clinic.
