Current Private Practice Opportunity | Clayton, Melbourne

Compassionate Psychological Services is seeking expressions of interest from fully registered psychologists interested in joining a new private psychology practice in Clayton, Melbourne , anticipated to open in October/November 2026 .

The clinic is planned for 195 Wellington Road, Clayton , within the Monash/Clayton precinct, and will be professionally fitted specifically for psychology services.

The practice is expected to include:

- Five private consulting rooms
- Reception and waiting area
- Virtual reception support
- Staff kitchenette and breakout facilities
- Practice management system
- Five reserved on-site car spaces
- Flexible consulting arrangements from one day per week
- Marketing and referral development through Compassionate Psychological Services

We are currently seeking expressions of interest only, with no commitment required at this stage.

Two Flexible Practice Options

Option 1 - Contractor / Service-Fee Model

Psychologists work under Compassionate Psychological Services with flexibility over consulting days, clinical interests and caseload.

Indicative arrangement:

- Psychologist retains 65% of billings
- Practice retains 35% service fee
- Private billing practice welcoming referrals with a mental health care plan
- Virtual reception support
- Practice management system
- Booking and administrative systems
- Clinic-generated marketing and referral development




- Practitioners are also welcome to bring and develop their own referral networks
- Professionally furnished consulting room
- Flexible start from one day per week
- Opportunity to increase days as your caseload develops

Option 2 - Consulting Room Rental

For psychologists who prefer to operate independently or already have their own client base.

Indicative arrangement:

- $180 - $200 per full consulting day
- Furnished private consulting room
- Reception and waiting area facilities
- Staff amenities
- Five reserved on-site car spaces
- Professional private-practice environment
- Retain your own billings
- Flexible start from one day per week

We are particularly interested in psychologists looking for a flexible private-practice environment without the cost and commitment of establishing their own premises.
