Logan – 2 Days Per Week

The Company

This well-respected commercial and residential builder has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality construction projects across Queensland. With a growing order book, significant internal developments and a strong pipeline of future work, they continue to expand their HSE team and invest heavily in developing their people.

They are now looking to appoint a Part Time HSE Advisor to provide dedicated site support two days per week for an industrial project in Logan,

The Role

In this role you will provide HSE support on the construction of a new industrial shed development, working closely with Site Managers, Supervisors and subcontractors to maintain a proactive safety culture and ensure compliance across site activities.

This is a highly visible, site-based position where you'll spend your time engaging with the workforce, conducting inspections and supporting the project team with practical safety advice. You'll help identify issues early, ensure appropriate controls are in place and maintain compliance through HammerTech.

Working two days per week,



this would suit a HSE Advisor looking for a flexible position while still having genuine responsibility and influence on a live construction project.

Duties:

- Promote a proactive safety culture across an industrial construction project
- Conduct site inspections, audits and compliance monitoring
- Utilise HammerTech to manage observations, inspections and corrective actions
- Support Site Managers and Supervisors with risk assessments and protected work practices
- Deliver toolbox talks, inductions and safety communications
- Review SWMS and monitor high-risk construction activities
- Investigate incidents and support corrective actions
- Engage with subcontractors and site personnel to maintain HSE standards

Requirements:

- Experience as an HSE Advisor within construction
- Commercial, industrial or similar construction experience highly regarded
- Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety
