Shopfitter Needed

Your current company Hays is partnering with a well‑established shopfitting contractor known for delivering quality retail, commercial, hospitality, and office fit‑outs across Adelaide. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of upcoming projects, we are seeking an experienced shopfitter to join their team.

As a Shopfitter, you will be responsible for the installation and assembly of commercial fit‑outs, joinery, cabinetry, fixtures, and fittings across a variety of projects. Working alongside a skilled team, you will ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

- Installing commercial joinery, cabinetry, and fixtures
- Reading and interpreting plans and drawings
- Shop and retail fit‑out installations
- Measuring, cutting, and assembling materials
- Using hand and power tools safely and effectively




- Completing general shopfitting and carpentry duties
- Maintaining a safe and organised worksite
- Delivering quality workmanship within project timeframes

What you'll need to succeed

- Previous shopfitting experience (Essential)
- Carpentry qualification or relevant carpentry experience highly regarded
- White Card (Essential)
- Ability to read and interpret plans and drawings
- Experience using a range of hand and power tools
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Current Driver's Licence and reliable transport
