Applications are invited from Assistants in Nursing with Hospital experience to join our dynamic team. You will be a part of a highly dedicated team that provides the best patient-centred care for our Palliative Care patients.
These full time and part-time (3 days/week) opportunities will be in our Palliative Care ward located at Braeside Hospital in Prairiewood. We offer applicants a stimulating workplace and a supportive team environment within the unit. Our staff are valued members of the multi-disciplinary team and are encouraged to participate in all learning and development activities.
HammondCare is a NSW Health-affiliated organisation all NSW Health transferrable entitlements will be recognised.
About you
- At least one year’s relevant hospital experience, or a second-year student in Bachelor of Nursing with at least one Clinical Placement and a desire to work in a Palliative Care ward.
- Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team
- Effective written and oral communication skills
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
- Computer literacy with email and an electronic patient record system
- Time management skills and ability to prioritise competing workloads within a complex environment
