About the Role
We are recruiting a Full-time Day Cleaner to support cleaning operations at a leading private school in Coomera.
This role involves Monday to Friday, 6:00am–2:00pm shifts, helping to maintain a clean, safe and well-presented environment across the school grounds and facilities.
You will take ownership of your areas, work proactively to identify what needs attention, and work closely with both the school client and the wider Quayclean team. This role includes indoor and outdoor duties, including approximately 1–2 hours of leaf blowing each morning and operating a cleaning buggy around the school grounds.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Completing daily cleaning duties across school facilities and grounds
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation across the site
- Completing approximately 1–2 hours of leaf blowing each morning
- Driving a cleaning buggy around the school grounds during school hours
- Identifying areas requiring attention and proactively addressing them
- Communicating professionally with the school client and Quayclean team
- Working independently while supporting the wider cleaning team
- Maintaining safe work practices and high standards of service delivery
What You'll Bring
- Previous cleaning experience, preferably within a school, commercial or similar setting
- Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
- A proactive approach and willingness to take ownership of your areas
- Good written and verbal English communication skills
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- A friendly, positive and approachable attitude
- Reliability, punctuality and good personal presentation
- Willingness to work outdoors as part of your regular duties
- Current driver’s licence – essential
- Eligibility to work in Australia
- Current Police Check
- Working With Children Check
