Professional Services Review
Australia
Skilled Service Review (PSR) is an Agency within the Health and Ageing portfolio whose work protects the integrity of the Medicare, child dental benefits and the pharmaceutical benefits programs (PBS). PSR is established under Part VAA of the Health Insurance Act 1973, which sets out the role and powers of the Agency, as well as the process that it must follow when conducting its work.
PSR is seeking talented people with a broad range of skills and experience to register for our Temporary Employment Register. The Temporary Employment Register assists with filling temporary positions (up to a maximum period of 18 months) and is open for candidates to register their interest in working at PSR at all levels.
Please note that this is a register only and you will only be contacted regarding your application if a suitable vacancy arises that matches your skills and experience.
Interested applicants will be required to email a resume and cover letter outlining their skills and experience. The letter should include the job category you would like to be considered for, and specific examples to explain how your experience,
skills and qualifications make you a good fit for PSR. PSR will review the information provided and will contact you if we identify a vacancy that matches your skills and experience.
To be eligible for employment with PSR, you must be an Australian citizen.
An applicant’s suitability for employment with PSR will also be assessed through a variety of pre-employment checks, such as:
- satisfactory completion of a criminal history check
- providing evidence of qualifications (where required)
- obtaining and maintaining a security clearance at the required level.
Employees perform their duties at the PSR office located in Brindabella Park, Canberra. Remote working may be possible for some roles and is negotiated on commencement. Flexibility can be negotiated with your manager to balance your personal and professional needs with the needs of your role and business area.
