Pickering Automotive Group is seeking a motivated 2nd or 3rd Year Apprentice Automotive Technician to join our workshop team.
This is an opportunity for an apprentice who has already developed a foundation of automotive skills and is looking to continue their training in a professional workshop environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with vehicle servicing, repairs and maintenance
- Work alongside qualified technicians and workshop staff
- Carry out routine servicing and basic repairs under supervision
- Assist with vehicle inspections and fault identification
- Develop skills in mechanical and electrical systems
- Use workshop tools and diagnostic equipment under supervision
- Remove and refit vehicle components
- Follow manufacturer procedures and workshop standards
- Maintain accurate job and service information
- Keep the workshop clean and organised
- Follow all workplace health and safety requirements
- Continue completing apprenticeship training and coursework
About You
- Currently undertaking a 2nd or 3rd Year Automotive Technician apprenticeship
- Previous hands-on automotive workshop experience
- Genuine passion for the automotive industry
- Eager to continue developing technical skills
- Good mechanical aptitude
- Reliable and punctual
- Solid attention to detail
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Able to follow instructions and work safely
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Current Australian driver's licence or learner licence
