About the role

We are seeking an experienced 4WD Accessory Fitter to join our team at Precision Offroad 4x4 in Wangara, WA. This is a full-time position based on-site where you will be responsible for the professional installation and fitting of four-wheel-drive accessories and modifications. You will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality workmanship that meets our customers' expectations and maintains our reputation as a leading provider of 4WD solutions in Western Australia.

Key responsibilities

- Install and fit a wide range of 4WD accessories including bullbars, winches, suspension systems, lighting, recovery equipment and interior modifications
- Read and interpret installation manuals, technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate fitting of components
- Perform quality checks and testing of all installed accessories to ensure they meet safety standards and customer requirements
- Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used and labour hours for each job
- Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and provide technical advice where appropriate
- Keep the workshop clean, organised and safe, adhering to all health and safety regulations
- Identify and report any defective parts or equipment issues to management
- Assist in the maintenance of workshop tools and equipment

What we're looking for

- Proven experience in 4WD accessory fitting or similar automotive installation work
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of vehicle systems
- Proficiency with hand and power tools commonly used in automotive fitting
- Ability to read technical drawings,



manuals and installation specifications accurately
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship
- Robust problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
- Good communication skills and a professional approach to customer service
- A valid Australian driving licence
- Relevant qualifications in automotive fitting or mechanical work are advantageous
- Knowledge of 4WD vehicles and their specific requirements is preferred
