Are you passionate about creating culturally safe spaces where Aboriginal people, culture, and community are respected, valued, and heard?
MNCLHD is seeking an Aboriginal Cultural Capability Lead to champion cultural safety and support meaningful change across our health service.
This deadly leadership role will work alongside Aboriginal communities, Elders, staff, and leaders to strengthen cultural capability, foster understanding, and embed culturally protected practices across the District.
You'll lead initiatives that
- Grow cultural capability and understanding across our workforce
- Deliver and champion Respecting the Difference training
- Strengthen partnerships with local Aboriginal communities and Elders
- Embed Aboriginal perspectives into decision-making and service delivery
- Support workplaces where Aboriginal staff feel culturally safe, respected, and empowered
- Contribute to Closing the Gap through lasting cultural change and inclusion
- This role is about walking together,
listening deeply, sharing knowledge, and creating stronger pathways for culturally responsive healthcare across the Mid North Coast.
