Job Purpose and Scope:

The successful candidate will be working on administering daily financial duties. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the financial health of the organisation.

Specific Responsibilities:

Daily Banking, Cash and General Ledger

- Complete daily bank reconciliations across Australian entities and accounts, ensuring transactions are accurately recorded and matched in NetSuite.
- Investigate and resolve unreconciled items, banking discrepancies, duplicate transactions and unidentified receipts promptly, escalating material or aged items where required.
- Maintain accurate general ledger records and supporting transactional in accordance with accounting policies and internal controls.
- Support cash position reporting and provide timely information to assist treasury and working capital management.

Month-End Close and Financial Reporting

- Assist in preparing assigned month-end journals, including accruals, prepayments,



allocations and reclassifications.
- Prepare timely, accurate and well-supported balance sheet reconciliations, investigate and clear reconciling items within agreed time frames.
- Support preparation of periodic financial and management reports and provide variance explanations for assigned accounts.
- Maintain month-end workpapers, evidence and reconciliations to an audit -ready standard and meet Finance close timetable.

Tax, Compliance and Audit

- Assist with GST/BAS, PAYG withholding, payroll tax, FBT and other statutory compliance activities as allocated.

Process Improvement and Team Contribution

- Maintain clear process documentation and contribute to the standardisation and automation of recurring finance activities.
- Assist in identifying recurring reconciliation issues, root causes and opportunities to improve data quality, controls and efficiency.
- Work collaboratively across Finance and the wider business, provide reliable coverage for team activities and contribute positively during peak reporting periods.
- Undertake other reasonable accounting and finance duties appropriate to the role level.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in accounting, finance, or relevant field.
- Approximately two to four years’ relevant accounting experience.




- Qualified or near qualified towards Australian CA or CPA will be highly regarded.
- Hands-on experience with bank reconciliations, general ledger accounting and month end close is essential.
- Experience preparing balance sheet reconciliations, journals, accruals and prepayments.
- Strong Excel capability, including confident use of formulas, lookups, pivot tables and data reconciliation techniques.
- Experience with NetSuite is highly desirable, experience with another large ERP will also be considered.
- Exposure to multi-entity, software, technology or SaaS /professional services environments is advantageous.
