About the role

Working closely with the Senior Assistant Accountant, you will process and reconcile high-volume freight invoices, process general supplier invoices, perform bank reconciliations, create payroll-related payments, and assist with accruals and other finance tasks where required. The Senior Assistant Accountant will oversee the more complex AP activities, allowing you to focus on daily transaction processing and reconciliation tasks.

This role is 5 days in office.

Key responsibilities

- Processing and reconciling high-volume freight invoices
- Processing general supplier invoices
- Performing bank reconciliations
- Creating payroll-related payments
- Assisting with accruals and other finance tasks where required
- Maintaining accurate records and ensuring deadlines are met

About you

- Previous experience in an end to end Accounts Payable position




- Strong reconciliation skills
- Experience working within a high-volume processing workplace
- The ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- A proactive approach and ability to meet tight reporting deadlines
