AVADA Group is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Officer to join our Finance team on a 6-month fixed-term contract.

This is an excellent opportunity for a confident and customer-focused AR professional who thrives on building strong relationships, resolving payment issues, and driving positive business outcomes. You'll be responsible for managing a busy debtor portfolio, supporting cash flow performance, and partnering with stakeholders across the business to ensure outstanding customer service and efficient account management.

What You'll Be Doing

As a key member of our Finance team, you will:

- Manage collections activities and proactively follow up outstanding accounts
- Maintain customer accounts and debtor ledgers with accuracy and attention to detail
- Process high-volume invoicing, reconciliations, and account maintenance
- Investigate and resolve payment queries, disputes, and account discrepancies
- Manage claims processes to support timely customer payments
- Build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
- Maintain accurate financial records and reporting information
- Work collaboratively with operational and finance teams to improve collection outcomes and reduce aged debt

What You'll Bring We're looking for someone who combines strong technical AR skills with excellent stakeholder management.

You will have

- 3+ years' experience in Accounts Receivable, Credit Control, Collections, or a similar role




- Demonstrated success in managing debtor portfolios and reducing aged debt
- Solid communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- A proactive approach to problem solving and conflict resolution
- Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills
- The ability to work autonomously while contributing positively to a team environment
- Experience using Microsoft Business Central or a similar ERP system (highly regarded)
